Date: October 2nd, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
Location: This will be a hybrid meeting allowing for both electronic and in-person attendees. The hearing will be held at Council Chambers, Stanley Community Centre, 38594 Mill Rd, Varna, ON N0M 2R0.
This is a public meeting under the Planning Act. Purpose and effect
The purpose of this zoning by-law amendment (application #: BLU Z08-23) is to rezone two portions of the subject parcel from Agricultural Small Holding (AG4) to a) Highway Commercial–Special Zone (C3-15) to recognize an existing commercial use and b) to Agricultural Small Holding–Special Zone (AG4-14) to recognize a deficient front yard as a result of a severance (C028-23), permit an additional residential unit (ARU) in the front yard with a reduced interior side yard setback and permit parking from the adjacent commercial use. This application is a condition of a previously approved consent (C028-23). The subject lands to which this By-law applies are located at CON 10 PT LOT 21 AS RP;22R202 PART 1 (38110 Zurich-Hensall Road).Vary Section 17.5.1 to permit increased clearing to 37% of the zoned area when 30% is the permitted maximum.
