Community Safety and Well-Being Plan review

Community Safety and Well-Being Plan review

The Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWB) for Huron was established in the fall of 2019 through the work of Huron County's nine member municipalities, including Bluewater. Community Safety and Well-Being Plans are required under the Community Safety and Policing Act. CSWB Plans identify priority risk factors and strategies to reduce risk factors. They are required to be reviewed regularly.

All nine lower tiers in Huron County are conducting a review survey for the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan for Huron (2021) which identified the following priority areas: Mental Health and Addictions, Community Security, Domestic and Family Violence, and Housing Stability and Homelessness. The insights you provide will help guide the review of the Plan, which will be finalized before July 1.

Your voice is essential in helping Huron become a safer, healthier community. Complete the short survey to share your feedback and ideas for the CSWB Plan.
