Due to the ongoing heat warning, the Municipality of Bluewater has several locations where residents can find relief from the high temperatures.

Splash Pads:

• Hensall Splash Pad: located at the Hensall playground (next to the Hensall Arena)
• Bayfield Splash Pad: located in Clan Gregor Square

There are three Public Libraries in Bluewater are also available during regular operating hours. Please check with your local branch for details.

• Watch for early signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others. Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue.
• Stay hydrated and avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
• Check on vulnerable neighbours, friends, and family.
• never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
