Council Highlights—December 15

At its Regular Meeting of Council on December 15, 2025, Council of the Municipality of Bluewater:

• Awarded Tender BW-RDS-08-2025 for the supply and application of Dust Suppressant on gravel roads in 2026 to Da-Lee Dust Control in the amount of $156,084 excluding HST.
• Awarded Tender BW-RDS-07-2025 to supply, apply, and stockpile Granular ‘M’ to McKenzie Henderson in the amount of 522,437.30 excluding HST.
• Directed Staff to tender for the lease of a used excavator.
• Adopted the Huron County 2026 Annual Accessibility Plan as required under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
• Authorized the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a Shared Services Agreement with the Municipality of Central Huron for the provision of a Drainage Superintendent.
• Adopted the 2026 Fees and Charges By-law.
• Directed Staff to no longer provide Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (IC&I) recycling services at the Stanley Landfill.
