Mayor releases proposed 2026 budget

In May 2025, the Government of Ontario expanded strong mayor powers to the Municipality of Bluewater. With these powers, the Mayor is required by the Municipal Act, 2001 and Ontario Regulation 530/22 to prepare a budget for the Municipality and provide it to the Clerk and each member of Council on or before February 1st each year.

In accordance with Part VI.1 and O. Reg. 530/22 and under the Municipal Act, 2001, the Mayor is releasing the the 2026 Proposed Municipal Budget, also known as the "Mayor's Budget", as of November 25, 2025.
