Remaining willow wood now available to public

Residents may remember that earlier in the year we issued a request for expressions of interest for use of the wood from the historic willow on Bayfield Main St. The wood has been distributed but some remains. Remaining wood from the tree will be available for public pickup May 9 to 15, 2026.

Pickup location: The wood is located at the east end of Howard Street East and Hill Terrace (in the vicinity of the star on the map).

First come, first served. Please take only what you need and load safely and responsibly. Take as is, no cutting of wood onsite.
