Significant weather event—Ended December 7

The significant weather event declared by the Municipality of Bluewater on Wednesday, December 4th at 4 p.m. has ended as of December 7th at 11:30 a.m.

Our Roads Department responded to the event immediately and will continue to work toward restoring road and sidewalk conditions. However, in cases of heavy snowfall such as this, it can be expected that snow clearing efforts will take additional time. We appreciate your understanding as our crews work to restore our roadways and sidewalks to standard.

To support snow clearing efforts, please remember:

• Do not shovel snow onto roadways or sidewalks.
• Give snowplows a safe space to work by staying back, slowing down and being patient.
• On-street parking on any municipal roadway is not allowed between the hours of 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
