Notice of Work—Clan Gregor Square

After careful review, four trees in Clan Gregor Square have been identified for removal to allow for continued safe use of the park. The level of decay present in the trees poses a risk to safety. Crews will be on site the week of September 28th, 2026, to complete the work. We ask anyone passing by the Square to exercise caution as large equipment will be present.

Arrangements have been made to replace these trees with 4 large spaded trees. Spaded trees are larger than saplings and can be planted with larger root balls intact, allowing for greater chances of survival because of the special equipment used.
