COVID-19

Information related to the COVID-19 pandemic is constantly changing. The Municipality of Bluewater will continue to monitor the situation and share information from Huron Perth Public Health and the provincial and federal governments. Municipal decisions are informed by the directions given by these institutions. Please see the Huron Perth Public Health website, the Government of Ontario's COVID-19 information page, or the Government of Canada's COVID-19 information page for reliable, up-to-date information.

Any impacts to municipal services resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic will be shared through the news section of the municipality's website and social media pages. This includes updates for our offices and arenas. Please continue to check back for updates. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

The Province of Ontario has lifted the mandatory mask mandate for most settings. Staff and visitors to the municipal offices and our facilities can now choose whether or not they wish to wear a mask. Please be respectful of individual choices when visiting our offices and facilities.

If you are feeling unwell or have been notified by a healthcare professional that you must isolate, please reschedule any visits to the municipal office to another day.

The municipal and development services offices are open and staff are also available by phone or email to help you. Some services, including commissioning of oaths and marriage licenses, are available by appointment only. Please call the municipal office to make an appointment.

As some staff may not always be in office due to off-site meetings or working remotely, we encourage anyone needing assistance from a specific staff member to call to make an appointment. This will ensure staff are available to assist you if you are coming to the office. A complete list of staff contacts is available on our Contact Us page.
